Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Adirondack Mountains. Otter Brook is one of the streams close by that might be worth stopping at, and scenic scenery and good skiing is what you obtain at McCauley Mountain. Hiking along the Twin Lakes Trail is splendid fun, and skiing at Woods Valley is one of those things you just must do. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors fun stuff       the area in close proximity to Reeds Pond has to offer. Reeds Pond is not the only spot nearby, Little Woodhull Lake is a nearby lake, and why not camp at Nicks Lake Campgrounds if you're here at Reeds Pond. Reeds Pond gets a large amount of water; August is the wettest month with most rain; February is when it's the driest. This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Have a tremendous hiking adventure                  along the Stone Dam Trail; a great place to camp here at Reeds Pond is Trails End. All the outdoors entertaining things in the Adirondack Mountains will keep you coming back over and over. Looking for something near Reeds Pond? Chub Pond is close at hand, and you can run the rapids of Black River. This lake is so wonderful. Through the months of summer, highs commonly are in the 70's at Reeds Pond, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs all through the winter are frequently in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Reeds Pond.
