Take a hike on the Twin Lakes Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Mink Lake. Reeds Pond is located in the Adirondack Mountains. Having a good time in the Adirondack Mountains is uncomplicated. Black River is a great whitewater spot close to Reeds Pond, and what would winter be without some skiing at Woods Valley. If you want a delightful time in the great outdoors, just come on       down to Reeds Pond. If you came for an overnight stay Trails End is a glorious place to camp; not far from Reeds Pond you'll locate Little Woodhull Lake which is a lovely lake. This lake is so wonderful. Nicks Lake Campgrounds is a magnificent local campground; don't forget to take a delightful little tour to Otter Brook. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool stuff the Adirondack Mountains has to offer. Have a good hiking adventure along the                  Forty Mountain Trail, and a tremendous site for whitewater paddling is Black River. Hiking along the Stone Dam Trail is glorious fun; the slopes of McCauley Mountain are so inviting noone can resist. The high level of rainfall makes Reeds Pond a quite wet location; during the month of August you get the most rain around here; February on the other hand is the driest. Summertime highs at Reeds Pond typically tend to be in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's.
