Reed Pond is a lake worth visiting. Lots of folks from New York-Newark-Edison come to Reed Pond, and camping at Trailmark Outdoor Adventures is always a brilliant experience. month of the year is mostly July, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Sherwood Path, and what would winter be without some skiing
at Sterling Forest.
At Reed Pond through the days of summer highs are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Reed Pond are in the
10's. Fairfield Inn By Marriott Spring Valley is a tremendous spot to get some rest, and do take a hike on the Woodtown Trail. A lake nearby is Old Mill Pond, and a trip to Gateway National Recreation Area is worthwhile.
Manhattan Woods Golf Club is a great golf course nearby.
