    Red Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Banker Pond is a good lake in close proximity to Red Pond. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Red Pond has to offer, you can camp at Broken Wheel Campground. An average amount of rainfall falls at Red Pond; during the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors, just come on down  
   to Red Pond. The skiing at Mount Greylock Ski Club is great, and at Red Pond you can catch a sight of Dickinson Hill.
There's so much to do here at Red Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Aqua Vista Valley Campgrounds is a pleasant place for that, and a brilliant close by hotel is Jericho Valley Inn. Summer at Red Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally
 
               in the 30's while Red Pond overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the 0's. On a tremendous day at Red Pond you can take a hike along the Taconic Crest Trail, and after a long day outdoors Jiminy Peak is a perfect location to spend a night or two.
If you like skiing, you're in luck; Jiminy Peak is near Red Pond; whitewater paddling is glorious on Hoosic River. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for some flowing water? Try Red Pond Brook; there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Southeast Hollow Trail. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Red Pond.
If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Green River, and a nice location to take a look at nearby is Couch Hollow. This lake is so wonderful. There are other spots here than Red Pond, for example Peckham Pond, and going for a hike on the Williams Trail is always a tremendous adventure.

I would recomended this campground 110 percent!!!!...alps is the most awesome place to camp.they offer everything and anything there. we saw what they did at the 4th of july and the kids loved it. I advice any parents that have have kids to take them there........they WON'T be disapointed...
