Red Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Banker Pond is a good lake in close proximity to Red Pond. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Red Pond has to offer, you can camp at Broken Wheel Campground. An average amount of rainfall falls at Red Pond; during the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors, just come on down

| | to Red Pond. The skiing at Mount Greylock Ski Club is great, and at Red Pond you can catch a sight of Dickinson Hill. There's so much to do here at Red Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Aqua Vista Valley Campgrounds is a pleasant place for that, and a brilliant close by hotel is Jericho Valley Inn. in the 30's while Red Pond overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the 0's. On a tremendous day at Red Pond you can take a hike along the Taconic Crest Trail, and after a long day outdoors Jiminy Peak is a perfect
location to spend a night or two. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Jiminy Peak is near Red Pond; whitewater paddling is glorious on Hoosic River. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for some flowing water? Try Red Pond Brook;
there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Southeast Hollow Trail. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Red Pond. If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling
on Green River, and a nice location to take a look at nearby is Couch Hollow. This lake is so wonderful. There are other spots here than Red Pond, for example Peckham Pond, and going for a hike on the Williams Trail is always a tremendous adventure.
