Go to Red Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. From a rain point of view Red Pond is a quite normal spot; the month with most of the rain is May, and February meanwhile is the driest month. If you need a place to stay Best Value Inn - Pownal/Williamstown is a pleasant choice, and what would winter be without some skiing at Jiminy Peak. This lake is so wonderful. Very pretty scenery and great skiing is what you get at Mount Greylock Ski Club, and you can go

| | for a hike on the Southeast Hollow Trail. If you come at the right time of year, Hoosic River offers some delightful whitewater. If you came for an overnight stay Aqua Vista Valley Campgrounds is a perfect place to camp, and nearby you locate Couch Hollow which is a magnificent place to have a look at. A good sight of beautiful Dickinson Hill is available from Red Pond, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Peckham Pond. | |

This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Broken Wheel Campground since you're here at Red Pond; going for a hike on the Taconic Crest Trail is always a glorious adventure. Don't leave Red Pond without first going for a hike along
the Williams Trail, and float down the rapids of Green River in a kayak. Summertime highs at Red Pond typically tend to be in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are regularly in the 30's,
and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Red Pond fall into the 0's. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Red Pond. Red Pond Brook flows through this neighborhood, and dry warm beds await you at Jericho Valley Inn.
