    Red Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. For the duration of the summer months highs here at Red Pond reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Red Pond during the wintertime typically drop into the 0's. After a long day outdoors Jiminy Peak is a glorious place to spend a night or two; hey, Gotta ski right? Mount Greylock Ski Club is a magnificent  
   place to do that. Jericho Valley Inn is a nice location to get some rest; good hiking is available along the Williams Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. At Red Pond you can catch a glimpse of Dickinson Hill, and don't leave Red Pond without first going for a hike along the Southeast Hollow Trail. A normal amount of rain falls here at Red Pond; the month with most of the rain is May while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
Get
 
               drenched paddling on Green River, and everybody close by loves skiing at Jiminy Peak. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff near Red Pond. Soar down the rapids of Hoosic River in a kayak, and Couch Hollow is unquestionably a great location to go to. This lake is so wonderful. Broken Wheel Campground is a great local campground, and Red Pond is a magnificent place to visit for more than one day, Aqua Vista Valley Campgrounds is a magnificent place to camp nearby.
There are splendid sites to look at along the Taconic Crest Trail, and a quick tour to Red Pond Brook is definitely a fine idea.
