And that's not all the things to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. If the weather is great here at Readway Ponds, you can go for a hike along the Post Henderson Trail; you can stay the night at Robinson's Iga. A common amount of precipitation falls here at Readway Ponds; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake       is so wonderful. At Readway Ponds you always meet someone from Ogdensburg-Massena, and paddling on Little River is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Near Readway Ponds you find the The Loop which is a delightful hiking trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Readway Ponds has to offer, you can camp at Natural Bridge K O A Camp Ground. You feel that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Soar down the rapids of Oswegatchie River - East Branch                  in a kayak, and if you need a spot to stay Pinecone Restaurant is a perfect choice. You can see Maple Mountain from Readway Ponds, and a lake close by is Bundy Pond. So many enjoyable things in the Adirondack Mountains, just astonishing. Newton Falls Hotel is a magnificent location to get some rest; the Salmon Lake Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. High temperatures at Readway Ponds all through the warm days of summer are in the 70's; the overnight is a little cooler of course, usually in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Readway Ponds. This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains.
