Ray Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Dry warm beds await you at Hilton Garden Inn Danbury; why not take a refreshing hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. Whitewater paddling is great on Tenmile, and there are other places here than Ray Lake, for example Little Whaley Lake. stream that is worth stopping at.
High temperatures at Ray Lake during the warm months are in the 80's while nighttime lows are usually in the 60's. All through the winter highs are generally in the 30's while Ray Lake nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's.
