The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful.       For the period of the summertime at Racker Vly temperatures are mostly in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are regularly in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Racker Vly. If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Adirondack Mountains. Camping is available at Ranch Side Park; you'll meet a lot of folks from Gloversville here. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! Racker Vly is great! Take a look at nearby Round Vly, and Shaker Mountain is easy to spot from Racker Vly. This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water nearby flows, like Chase Lake Outlet. Going for a hike on the Hamilton Mountain Fire Tower Trail is always a fine adventure.
