You could also stop at Mud Pond since you're here at Rabbit Pond; it's close by, and going for a hike along the Oregon Trail will let you absorb the                  natural beauty of this neighborhood. Through the days of summer highs here at Rabbit Pond reach the 70's while overnight lows are commonly in the 50's. During the wintertime highs are commonly in the 20's, and night lows at Rabbit Pond all through the winter frequently dip into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Very picturesque scenery and brilliant skiing is what you get at Gore Mountain, and if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Balm of Gilead Brook.
