     Queensboro Lake is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Central Valley Golf Club. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Queensboro Lake has to offer, you can camp at Beaver Pond. Queensboro Lake is a wet place that gets a large amount of precipitation; May is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month of the year is February.
There's brilliant hiking along the Stillwell Lake Trail, and a
 
   quick trip to Beechy Bottom Brook is beyond doubt a pleasant idea. High temperatures at Queensboro Lake all through the days of summer are in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Queensboro Lake tend to be in the 10's. Now, you may think that's heaps but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Queensboro Lake. Deep Hollow  
               is a splendid place to explore, and a tremendous nearby hotel is Econo Lodge Highland Falls.
If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites West Point-Ft Montgomery, Ny is a perfect choice, and Weyants Pond is a wonderful lake nearby. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a pleasant time here at Queensboro Lake. Lakes? Sure, Turkey Hill Pond is in close proximity, and a visit to nearby Hell Hole is very relaxing. There's so much to do here at Queensboro Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Sebago Cabins Harriman is a glorious site for that; in the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Popolopen Creek.
Head up to Sterling Forest and strap some skis to your feet, and Moodna Creek has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. The Breakneck Ridge Trail offers hiking at its best; the snow is nice at Mt. Peter. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Queensboro Lake; Woodtown Trail is a perfect local trail, and if the weather is delightful, you obtain a great vista of Bear Mountain from Queensboro Lake.
