Catamount has pleasant slopes and a friendly staff; a great close by hotel is Queechy Lake Motel. This lake is so wonderful. Near Queechy Lake you find the Taconic Skyline Trail which is a perfect hiking trail; a fine place to camp here at Queechy Lake is Woodland Hills Campground. There are great sites to discover along the Turner Trail, and from Queechy Lake you obtain a good vista of Deane Hill.

Lake is a relatively common spot; all through the month of July you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is February. Camping is available at Ukrainian Plast Camp. So many amusing things to do here at Queechy
Lake, too great to be true. Going for a hike on the Brickhouse Mountain Trail is always a great adventure; since you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Pittsfield.
