Putnam Pond is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains. This place, Putnam Pond, it completely has so much outdoors exciting stuff. If you come at the right time of year, La Chute River offers some wonderful whitewater; hiking along the Rock Pond Trail is tremendous fun. This lake is so wonderful. Putnam Pond is not far at all from Glens Falls. There's so much to do here at Putnam Pond       that you need to camp here for a while, Brookwood RV Resorts is a splendid place for that. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Ticonderoga - Super 8 Motel is a good place to spend a night or two; do take a hike on the Clear Pond Trail. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Putnam Creek, and swamps can be such interesting places, take a look at Peshette Swamp while you're here at Putnam Pond. High temperatures at Putnam Pond during the summertime                  months are in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Putnam Pond.
