A visit to Putnam Pond is always a good idea. During the summer months, highs typically are in the 70's at Putnam Pond, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs throughout the wintertime are typically in the 20's with temperatures at Putnam Pond dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Drift down the rapids of La Chute River in a kayak, and at Putnam Pond you can catch a glimpse of Bear Pond Mountain.

Adirondack Mountains. Paddling on Putnam Creek is so much fun, and as expected, this is a great region for people who like lakes, Grizzle Ocean is a lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. There's magnificent hiking along the Rock
Pond Trail, and you're in all probability hooked on lakes, Little Rock Pond is one of those nearby. Putnam Pond gets a common amount of rain; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of
the year is February. During your journey to Putnam Pond you'll meet some people from Glens Falls for sure, and don't leave Putnam Pond without first going for a hike along the Clear Pond Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains.
