Twin Village Golf Club is a tremendous golf course nearby; if the weather is delightful, you can go for a hike along the Schiff Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things near The Punchbowl. There are other locations here than The Punchbowl, for example Mud Pond, and       a tremendous place close by is Lanfield Hollow. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Holiday Mountain is close to The Punchbowl. Russell Brook Campsite is a delightful campground nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Howard Johnson Inn Liberty NY. You can run the rapids of Callicoon Creek - North Branch in the vicinity of The Punchbowl, and swing by Abe Wood Brook it's a wonderful place to stop at. This lake is so wonderful.                  There's whitewater on Beaver Kill River for all you adrenaline junkies. Lakes? Sure, Lake Florence is close by. High temperatures at The Punchbowl during the summertime are in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at The Punchbowl temperatures descend to the 10's.
