Prier Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Cedar Pond Campground is a great local campground.
This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are good; Carter Pond is a lake that's near Prier Pond, and there's delightful hiking
along the Oregon Trail. Yeah, come up here to the Adirondack Mountains for a wonderful time. Really great skiing awaits you at Gore Mountain, and paddling on Thirteenth Brook is so much fun. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack
Mountains.
The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Prier Pond while overnight lows are generally in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Prier Pond descend into the 0's.
