Sure, Grassy Ponds is in the vicinity. There's so much to do here at Prier Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Smoke Rise Campsites is a pleasant place for that. Prier Pond is located in the Adirondack Mountains. Having a magnificent time in the Adirondack Mountains is easy. Courtyard Lake Placid is a great site to get some rest. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Prier Pond has to offer, you can camp       at Cedar Pond Campground. The yearly rain here at Prier Pond is about average; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February is when it's the driest. At Prier Pond during the summertime months highs are in the 70's while overnight lows are generally in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Prier Pond drop into the 0's. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place!                  Prier Pond is peerless! Take a little journey to Bell Mountain Brook if you're here at Prier Pond, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Thirteenth Brook. One of the governing features of the surroundings of Prier Pond is Bell Mountain; if you come at the right time of year, Hudson River offers some great whitewater. But wait, there's more fun things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Take a hike on the Northville Lake Placid Trail; tremendous skiing awaits you at Gore Mountain. This lake is so wonderful.
