Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Potake Pond, and the night is somewhat colder of course, commonly in the 50's. Beach since you're here. If you need a spot to stay Doubletree Hotel Mahwah is a fine choice, and the slopes of Mt. Peter are so inviting noone can resist. Everybody close by loves skiing at Sterling Forest; taking a little spree
to close by North Cape is a great idea. This lake is so wonderful. Bald Mountain is beautiful and can be distinguished from Potake Pond, and the Kakiat Trail is a nice hiking trail nearby. Potake Pond regularly gets a good deal
of precipitation; during the month of November you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Dry warm beds await you at Sheraton Crossroads Hotel. You'll need more than a day
to explore everything Potake Pond has to offer, you can camp at Camp wabenaki. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. There's so much to do here at Potake Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Robert Moses is a great place for that, and if you're visiting from New York-Newark-Edison, you won't be the only one.
