If you need a spot to stay Americas Best Value Inn/Central Valley is a fine choice, and don't leave Popolopen Lake without first going for a hike along the Ramapo-Dunderberg Trail. All the water falling down from the sky makes Popolopen Lake a wet place; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. the Stillwell Lake Trail. A good close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites WEST POINT-FORT MONTGOMERY, and on a pretty day you obtain a good sight of Brooks Mountain from Popolopen Lake. Hemlock Brook is a perfect site
to visit, and Brooks Hollow is a great place to spend some time. This place, Popolopen Lake, it simply has so much outdoors cool stuff. Hit the slopes at Mt. Peter close at hand. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right
time of year, Moodna Creek offers some delightful whitewater, and Sterling Forest has great slopes and a friendly staff. There's so much to do here at Popolopen Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Sebago Cabins Harriman is
a tremendous location for that. Lakes are tremendous; Mine Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Popolopen Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Popolopen Lake has to offer, you can camp at Beaver Pond, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Popolopen Creek.
