The Pond gets a large amount of water; May is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. There are other spots here than The Pond, for example The Lake, and on a splendid day it's a great idea to spend the day at Hazard Beach. That right there is plenty already,       but it keeps on going; The Pond has it all. A trip to close by Hunters Point is very relaxing, and dry warm beds await you at Helmsley Park Lane. This lake is so wonderful. You might want to pay a visit to Roosevelt Island Reef since you're here at The Pond, and hey, Gotta ski right? Sterling Forest is a brilliant location to do that. Some nearby water includes Newtown Creek, and in the vicinity of The Pond you hit upon a golf course called N Y C Golf Club.                  Camp Experts & Teen Summrs is a delightful campground nearby; Gateway National Recreation Area is a very pleasant site to visit. During the months of summer highs here at The Pond reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for The Pond tend to be in the 10's.
