This place, Lake Pond, it truly has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Very charming scenery and glorious skiing is what you get at West Mountain, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Treadway Mountain Trail. You're sure to stumble upon some friendly people from Glens Falls here, and Putnam Mountain is easy to spot from Lake Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Blue Lagoon on Lake Georg is a splendid site       to get some rest, and you're perhaps into lakes, Lake Nebo is one of those close by. If you came to camp Mohawk Campground is a nice spot to do that, and enjoy a round of golf at Queensbury C C Golf Course. A fine nearby hotel is The Sagamore, and hiking along the Berrymile Pond Trail is pleasant fun. From a precipitation point of view Lake Pond is a pretty normal place; the wettest month of the year is mostly August, that's the one that rains the most,                  and January is when it's the driest. Going for a hike along the Lost Pond Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity; skiing at Willard Mountain is one of those things you just should do. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Pond is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Ledgeview RV Park is a pleasant local campground, and get your pulse rate up on the pleasant whitewater of Hudson River. All through the summertime, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Lake Pond. For the period of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's.
