Throughout the warm months, highs mostly are in the 70's at Lake Pond, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. Camping is available at Ledgeview RV Park, and the summit of Putnam Mountain can be distinguished from Lake Pond. Skiing at Willard Mountain is one of those things you just ought to do. You're sure to stumble upon some great people from Glens Falls here, and a magnificent location to camp here at Lake Pond is Mohawk Campground. A good nearby hotel is Blue Lagoon on Lake Georg, and if you've had enough of Lake Pond, Sly Pond is nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
