Why not stop by Pocket Ponds if you're passing through these parts. If the weather is good here at Pocket Ponds, you can go for a hike along the Norridge Trail; Pocket Ponds is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Nicks Lake Campgrounds is a nice local campground. So much exciting stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains, not sufficient time. Craig Point is in close proximity to Pocket Ponds and is a nice site to check out, and there are other locations here than

| | Pocket Ponds, for example Twitchell Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. The Salmon Lake Trail is a nice hiking trail near Pocket Ponds, and Browns Rock is an attention-grabbing thing to see since you're here. There's so much to do here at Pocket Ponds that you need to camp here for a while, OLD Forge Camping Resort is a great place for that. Pocket Ponds. A day on the slopes of McCauley Mountain is just what you need; a round of golf at nearby Thendara Golf Club is a tremendous way to kill some time. This lake is so wonderful. Pocket Ponds is a place with many visitors
from Ogdensburg-Massena, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Black River - South Branch. Summer at Pocket Ponds arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows sink
down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Pocket Ponds temperatures descend to the 0's. This place, the Adirondack Mountains, has so much outdoors
cool stuff. There is a pleasant hiking trail next to Pocket Ponds called the Big Deer Pond Trail, and there are some nice whitewater spots on Moose River - South Branch. Pocket Ponds is a wet site that gets much rain; August is
when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest. Jock Pond is a delightful lake right next door to Pocket Ponds; if the weather is delightful, you get a glorious sight of Twitchell Mountain from Pocket Ponds.
