If you come at the right time of year, Oswegatchie River offers some fine whitewater, and while you're here, you could also explore delightful Mud Lake. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Island Branch, and Yellow Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. During the summer months at Pleasant Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures       drop down into the 50's. During the winter highs are mostly in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Pleasant Lake. After a long day outdoors Red Carpet Inn Ogdensburg is a splendid place to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here at Pleasant Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Chapman's Marina is a nice spot for that. If only every place had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great earth it would be. A great close by                  hotel is Quality Inn Gran-View; if you came to camp Massaouapi Cabins is a good place to do that.
