The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Pitcher Pond, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are regularly in the 20's, and overnight lows during the winter for Pitcher Pond tend to be in the 0's. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Titus Mountain is in the neighborhood of Pitcher Pond, and Econo Lodge       Malone is a delightful spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of people from Malone come to Pitcher Pond, and as expected, this is a glorious region for folks who like lakes, Big Duck Pond is a lake around here. That right there is heaps already, but it continues; Pitcher Pond has it all. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Pitcher Pond has to offer, you can camp at Deer River Campsites, and you can run the rapids of St. Regis                  River - East Branch. Pitcher Pond gets a normal amount of precipitation; during August this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Malone is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two, and get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Deer River. Take some time to explore Franklin State Forest Number Three if you're here, and playing golf is lots of fun at Malone Golf Club. There's so much to do here at Pitcher Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Legton is a great place for that, and Limekiln Mountain is uncomplicated to spot from Pitcher Pond.
