    If you like lakes and you're in this part of New York you can check out Piseco Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Piseco Lake, for example Warner Lake; don't leave Piseco Lake without first checking out Echo Cliff. People from Gloversville love to come to Piseco Lake, and naturally Sand Lake Outlet flows through this region. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
The warmest time of the year at Piseco Lake
 
   comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer night lows fall down to the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are commonly in the 20's, and overnight lows at Piseco Lake through the wintertime typically plunge into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sacandaga River - West Branch. The high level of rainfall makes Piseco Lake a pretty wet place; August is the wettest month  
               with most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Adirondack Mountains. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Piseco Lake has to offer, you can camp at Campsite; Panther Mountain can be observed from Piseco Lake. Any time is a wonderful time at Piseco Lake if you go for the outdoors. You are near Big Bay since you're here at Piseco Lake; on a splendid day you can take a hike along the Hamilton Mountain Fire Tower Trail. Piseco Outlet is a magnificent whitewater spot close to Piseco Lake, and Scotch Lake is a wonderful lake close by.
You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Adirondack Mountains. There is a fine hiking trail in close proximity to Piseco Lake called the Sucker Brook Trail; Piseco Lake is a delightful site to visit for more than one day, Pine Lake Campground and RV Park is a delightful site to camp nearby.

Very friendly towns folk and this lake holds the New York State Record for a Large Mouth Bass caught in 1994. The lake is fed by many underground springs but is not ery deep. Never been there...going there soon though....l\Love it there, going today. :)...Great spot for swimming in the summer. Clear waters, with many rocks and small cliffs to jump off, along with a rope swing! Its a heavily used area, made apparent by the large amount of garbage left around during the busy months, but  all in all a good lake and definatley worth the short hike....

Hell Diver Pond is a pretty little body of water located in the Moose River Recreation Area of the Adirondacks. The hike back to it is easy and short. Hell Diver is well worth the walk....
