If you come at the right time of year, Mettawee River offers some great whitewater, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Whitehall Reservoir. There's so much to do here at Pine Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Green Acres By The Brook is a great spot for that. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Pine Lake; Lost Pond Trail is a great local trail; West Mountain is a very popular ski area close by. Summer at Pine Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. For                  the duration of the wintertime highs are typically in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Pine Lake through the wintertime mostly fall into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Pine Lake has to offer, you can camp at Adirondack Camp; Bald Mountain is a peak you can see from Pine Lake. But wait, there's more fun things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. This is a glorious vicinity for people who like lakes. Sheltered Lakes is a lake close at hand, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Poultney River. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Clear Pond Trail, and some of the water close by flows, like Pine Lake Brook. This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Ticonderoga Inn & Suites is a tremendous place to get some rest, and Valley View Golf Course is a splendid golf course nearby. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! Pine Lake is peerless!. Pine Lake is located in the Adirondack Mountains.
