    Pine Lake is a lake worth visiting. Just can't get enough of the Adirondack Mountains. If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Moose River - Middle Branch, and McCauley Mountain is a very popular ski area close at hand. And that's not all there is to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Stillwater Motel, and why not head up to Snow Ridge and strap some skis to your feet. An average amount  
   of rain falls at Pine Lake; throughout the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February on the other hand is the driest.
Going for a hike on the Forty Mountain Trail is always a great adventure. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Pine Lake has to offer, you can camp at Singing waters Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Near Pine Lake you come across the Twin Lakes Trail which is a good hiking trail, and Moose River
 
               is a nice whitewater spot close by. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. You'll discover a beautiful lake called Copper Lake near Pine Lake, and if you need a place to stay Brantingham Inn Motel is a brilliant choice.
Some close by water includes Middle Branch Pine Creek, and you can stay the night at Moose River Camp Grounds. This lake is so wonderful. The Stone Dam Trail is a tremendous hiking trail right next door to Pine Lake. Through the warm days of summer at Pine Lake highs are mostly in the 70's while night lows are commonly in the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are mostly in the 20's; after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Pine Lake fall into the 0's.
The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
