Any time is a pleasant time at Pine Lake if you like the outdoors. If you need a location to stay Red Carpet Inn on The Lake is a nice choice, and there are plenty of people from Oneonta here. This lake is so wonderful. So much enjoyable stuff in the Catskill Mountains, just astonishing. Goodyear Lake is a nice lake in the neighborhood of Pine Lake, and why not camp at Riverside Village RV Park if you're here at Pine Lake.       Lakes? Sure, Saddlebag Lake is close at hand, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Kortright Creek. Pine Lake is a beautiful lake in the Catskill Mountains. An average amount of precipitation falls at Pine Lake; June is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. And that's not all there is to do here in the Catskill Mountains. A tremendous nearby hotel is Super 8 Motel - Oneonta/Cooperstown                  Area, and a great spot is Pumpkin Hollow. A fine site to camp here at Pine Lake is Susquehanna Trail Campsites; Webb Hill is clearly visible from Pine Lake. High temperatures at Pine Lake through the months of summer are in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. Highs during the winter are commonly in the 30's while Pine Lake overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
