This lake is so wonderful. Pillsbury Lake is a tremendous site to visit for more than one day, Browns Tract Pond State Campground is a tremendous site to camp nearby, and Puddle Hole is a nearby lake that you could go to. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Adirondack Mountains. Have a splendid hiking adventure along the Hamilton Mountain Fire Tower Trail; from Pillsbury Lake you obtain a great sight of Cobble       Hill. All the outdoors entertaining things in the Adirondack Mountains will keep you coming back over and over. Tioga Point State Campground is a nice campground nearby; do take a hike on the Sucker Brook Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. A large amount of rain falls at Pillsbury Lake; August is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month is February. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here                  at Pillsbury Lake. Noisey Inlet is near Pillsbury Lake and is a great place to take a look at, and a great location for whitewater paddling is Moose River - South Branch. While you're here at Pillsbury Lake you can take a hike along the Northville Lake Placid Trail; Indian River is a fine whitewater spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. At Pillsbury Lake you always meet someone from Gloversville, and a lake close by is Bullhead Pond. Summer at Pillsbury Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's.
