If you came to camp Camp Lohikan is a pleasant place to do that. Lakes are great; Sand Pond is a lake that's in close proximity to Pierce Pond. This lake is so wonderful. It's a great idea to take a look at Fish Creek, it's next to Pierce Pond, and a day on the slopes of Mount Tone is just what you need. Not far from Pierce Pond, you'll hit upon Somerset Lake which is a scenic lake; nearby you discover Maynard Hollow which is a glorious place to go to.

| | This place, Pierce Pond, it clearly has so much outdoors amusing stuff. The top of Bittersweet Hill is easily distinguished from Pierce Pond, and Callicoon Creek - East Branch is a good whitewater spot close by. Summertime highs at Pierce Pond commonly tend to be in the 80's, and the night is quite colder of course, frequently in the 50's. to the 10's. Pierce Pond mostly gets a great deal of rain; the month with most of the rain is August; the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay The Lodge at Woodloch is a brilliant choice,
and Pierce Pond is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Ox-bow Campsites is a glorious local campground. Dry warm beds await you at Villa Roma Resort Lodges, and a magnificent spot for whitewater paddling is Callicoon Creek - North Branch.
