beauty of this region; if you need a location to stay Red Roof Inns Jamestown is a splendid choice. You can run the rapids of Cattaraugus Creek - South Branch close to Pickup Lake, and Pickup Lake is great enough to spend more than
a day at, Kinzua Lake Campgrounds is a great local campground.
This lake is so wonderful. A fine location for whitewater paddling near Pickup Lake is Cattaraugus Creek, and Stillson Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop at.
A good spot to camp here at Pickup Lake is JJ's Pope Haven Campground, and Red Carpet Inn Warren is a great location to get some rest.
This is a popular location for folks from Warren, and if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Land of Many USES Interpretive Trail.
