After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Sidney is a nice place to spend a night or two, and of course, this is a good area for folks who like lakes, Perch Pond is a lake around here. This lake is so wonderful. Pickerel Pond is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Kellystone Park Campsite is a nice place to camp nearby, and a round of golf at nearby Golden Oak Golf Club is a fine way to kill some time. From a rainfall point of view Pickerel Pond

Dry warm beds await you at Howard Johnson Hotel - Norwich. At Pickerel Pond during the summertime months highs are in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are ordinarily in the 20's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures | |

be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at close by Smith Pond; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Bowman Creek.

Elk Mountain
 | 24 miles away 3 PHOTOS Elk is uncrowded and really fun. They seem to make the best out off the conditions weather gives them. Good, long trails(for Pa). I liked the mini park. The ''bigger'' park made the best of the space. I surface lift in the park lets you session as long as you want, and stay in the park. Great for dialing in on my skillz. Couple of the rail and box features are really cool. I will go to Elk a couple times a year.... |
