Dry warm beds await you at Howard Johnson Binghamton, and a good sight of pretty Mount Arm is available. Summertime highs at Lake Petonia usually tend to be in the 70's; the overnight is fairly cooler of course, ordinarily in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 20's, and overnight lows through the winter for Lake Petonia tend to be in the 10's. From a rainfall point       of view Lake Petonia is a reasonably common place; during June this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is February. There are some great whitewater spots on Bowman Creek; if you came for an overnight stay Twin Brooks Recreation is a great place to camp. You clearly have to fancy Lake Petonia. At Lake Petonia you always meet someone from Binghamton. This lake is so wonderful. A golf course close to Lake Petonia is Genegantslet Golf Club, and some                  close by water includes Genegantslet Creek.
