Echo Lake Resort and Campground is a great local campground; if you need a site to stay Howard Johnson Hotel is a good choice. Summer at Perch Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Through the winter the highs are typically in the 20's while Perch Pond nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. There are other sites here than Perch Pond, for example       Marsh Pond, and whitewater paddling is good on Bowman Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Perch Pond, you'll come across Pickerel Pond which is a wonderful lake, and delightful skiing awaits you at Elk Mountain. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Perch Pond; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.
