If you came to camp Clarence Fahnestock State Park is a brilliant place to do that, and if you need a spot to stay Holiday Inn Express FISHKILL is a nice choice. During the long summer days at Penneywater Pond highs are frequently in the 70's while overnight lows are generally in the 60's. Throughout the winter highs                  are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Penneywater Pond are in the 10's. Soar down the rapids of Popolopen Creek in a kayak, and the Appalachian National Scenic Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. Penneywater Pond is right by the Stillwell Lake Trail. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a nice time here at Penneywater Pond. Sprout Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth visiting, and dry warm beds await you at Le Chambord.
