If the weather is fine here at Pelton Pond, you can go for a hike along the Stillwell Lake Trail; a delightful place to camp here at Pelton Pond is Clarence Fahnestock State Park. This lake is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend close by Fishkill Golf Course       & Driving Range, naturally you could also take a look at Canopus Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. During the months of summer, highs commonly are in the 70's at Pelton Pond. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's; overnight lows in the 10's for Pelton Pond.
