An afternoon playing golf at Dutcher Golf Course is always a delight, and if you need a place to stay Dutchess Motor Lodge is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Pine Grove Motel; you can never get enough of the glorious skiing at Thunder Ridge. There are plenty of folks from Poughkeepsie-Newburgh-Middletown here at Pell Lake, and you're perhaps into lakes, Bear Swamp is one of those close by.
