There's no way someone can get bored here in the Catskill Mountains. Picket Brook flows through this region, and why not camp at Uncle Pete's Recreation Park while you're here at Peekamoose Lake. Peekamoose Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Romer Mountain Park, and don't leave Peekamoose Lake without first going for a hike along the Kanape Jeep Trail. There's fine hiking along the Seager West Branch

The panorama of Breath Hill from Peekamoose Lake is gorgeous, and Esopus Creek is a perfect whitewater spot nearby. Peekamoose Lake is a place with many visitors from Kingston, and Pine Grove Dude Ranch is a delightful spot to get some rest.
