    Do stop by Peekamoose Lake while you're in this part of New York. Peekamoose Lake gets a typical amount of annual rainfall; the wettest month of the year is generally May, that's the one that rains the most, and February on the other hand is the driest. In case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rondout Creek, and there are wonderful spots to discover along the Vernooy Falls Trail. Yeah, come here to Peekamoose Lake for a delightful  
   time. Gotta ski! Hunter Mountain is a good spot to do that, and a great close by hotel is Full Moon Resort.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Catskill Mountains. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Catskill Mountains. Picket Brook flows through this region, and why not camp at Uncle Pete's Recreation Park while you're here at Peekamoose Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Belleayre, and a cool spot
 
               to check out is Spencers Ledge.
At Peekamoose Lake during the warm months highs are in the 70's while night lows are frequently in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Peekamoose Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Romer Mountain Park, and don't leave Peekamoose Lake without first going for a hike along the Kanape Jeep Trail. There's fine hiking along the Seager West Branch Trail.
Yep, outdoors exciting things truly is abundant here in the Catskill Mountains. The panorama of Breath Hill from Peekamoose Lake is gorgeous, and Esopus Creek is a perfect whitewater spot nearby. Peekamoose Lake is a place with many visitors from Kingston, and Pine Grove Dude Ranch is a delightful spot to get some rest.
