The Catskill Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Catskill Mountains. There's so much to do here at Peekamoose Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Sunshine Acres Camp & Conferen is a great site for that; skiing at Hunter Mountain is one of those things you just ought to do. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then       we recommend Rondout Creek, and Spencers Ledge is an attention-grabbing thing to catch a glimpse of since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is magnificent here at Peekamoose Lake, you can go for a hike along the Kanape Jeep Trail; if you came to camp Romer Mountain Park is a nice place to do that. Yeah, come here to Peekamoose Lake for a brilliant time. There are some good whitewater spots on Esopus Creek; a magnificent close by hotel                  is Nevele Grande Resort. This lake is so wonderful. Picket Brook is a stunning stream that is worth going to, and pretty scenery and great skiing is what you obtain at Belleayre. This place, Peekamoose Lake, it truly has so much outdoors fun stuff. The vista of scenic Breath Hill near Peekamoose Lake is perfect. But wait, there's more exciting things to do in the Catskill Mountains. While you're here at Peekamoose Lake you can take a hike along the Vernooy Falls Trail. Lakes are splendid; Rondout Reservoir is a lake that's close to Peekamoose Lake. On a perfect day at Peekamoose Lake you can take a hike along the Seager West Branch Trail, and Lexington at Hudson Valley Resort is a brilliant spot to get some rest. Summertime at Peekamoose Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's.
