If you adore the outdoors, you'll adore Peckham Pond. Get your heart beating on the glorious whitewater of Green River, and Mount Greylock Ski Club is a pleasant local ski area. This lake is so wonderful. Near Peckham Pond you hit upon magnificent locations like Couch Hollow, and there is a glorious hiking trail nearby called the Southeast Hollow Trail. There's so much to do here at Peckham Pond that       you need to camp here for a while, Broken Wheel Campground is a perfect site for that, and the skiing at Jiminy Peak is glorious. This lake is so wonderful. The Taconic Crest Trail is a delightful hiking trail near Peckham Pond, and Peckham Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Aqua Vista Valley Campgrounds is a good local campground. A great close by hotel is Bennington Battlefield Motel; Red Pond is a nearby lake that you could take a look at.                  Peckham Pond gets a typical amount of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest month of the year is February. After a long day outdoors Sedgwick Inn is a tremendous place to spend a night or two, and nearby you come across the Williams Trail which is a good hiking trail. For the period of the summertime months highs here at Peckham Pond get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 30's; overnight lows during the wintertime for Peckham Pond tend to be in the 0's.
