    A visit to Peckham Pond is always a good idea. There is a wonderful hiking trail near Peckham Pond called the Taconic Crest Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Broken Wheel Campground is a nice spot to camp. After a long day outdoors Jiminy Peak is a fine site to spend a night or two; if the weather is wonderful, you obtain a fine vista of Dickinson Hill from Peckham Pond. From a rain point of view Peckham Pond is a pretty typical spot; May is when you  
   get the most rain here; February on the other hand is the driest.
Summertime highs at Peckham Pond generally tend to be in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are regularly in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Peckham Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody close by loves skiing at Mount Greylock Ski Club. This lake is so wonderful. Near Peckham Pond you hit upon the Southeast
 
               Hollow Trail which is a great hiking trail, and float down the rapids of Hoosic River in a kayak.
A splendid place right next door to Peckham Pond is Couch Hollow, and the skiing at Jiminy Peak is wonderful. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have fun. Jericho Valley Inn is a good location to get some rest, and Aqua Vista Valley Campgrounds is a perfect local campground. Going for a hike on the Williams Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and get dripping wet paddling on Green River.
