Get yourself into a kayak and hit Norwalk River, and if you get bored of Peach Lake you could also take a look at close by East Branch Reservoir. There are some fine whitewater spots on Tenmile, and if you need a place to stay SpringHill Suites Danbury is a delightful choice. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! Peach       Lake is excellent! Really delightful skiing awaits you at Thunder Ridge, and you can stay the night at Camp Kiwi. While you're here at Peach Lake you can play some golf at Vails Grove Golf Course. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Peach Lake has to offer, you can camp at Kettletown State Park. For the duration of the warmest time of the year, highs mostly are in the 80's at Peach Lake, and the night is fairly cooler of course, generally in the 60's.                  During the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 30's while Peach Lake night low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Danbury Plaza Hotel; if you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Poughkeepsie-Newburgh-Middletown. Peach Lake regularly gets a good deal of precipitation; May is the wettest month with most rain; January meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
