This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. That right there is a load of fun things already but it goes on, the Adirondack Mountains has it all. Beartown Brook is one of the streams close by that might be worth going to, and get your pulse rate up on the nice whitewater of Saranac River. The yearly rain here at Patterson Reservoir is about average; August is the       month that gets the most rain; the driest month is February. High temperatures at Patterson Reservoir through the warm days of summer are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Patterson Reservoir descend into the 0's. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things in the Adirondack Mountains. Econo Lodge                  Plattsburgh is a great location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Macomb Park, and why not head up to Whiteface Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. Macomb Reservation is a great campground nearby; you can run the rapids of Great Chazy River. And if that's not enough, there's heaps more to do next to Patterson Reservoir.
