An average amount of precipitation falls at Patterson Reservoir; throughout the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February. And if that's not sufficient there's heaps more amusing stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Skiing at Whiteface Mountain is one of those things you just must do. Yeah, come here to Patterson Reservoir for a tremendous time. A pleasant nearby       hotel is Econo Lodge Plattsburgh, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Great Chazy River. This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. Just can't get enough of the Adirondack Mountains. If you're here at Patterson Reservoir, you could have a look at Beartown Brook, and after a long day outdoors Plattsburgh-Days Inn is a magnificent site to spend a night or two. This                  lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Macomb Reservation; if you're visiting from Plattsburgh, you won't be the only one. Through the summertime months at Patterson Reservoir highs are regularly in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Patterson Reservoir. Why not camp at Twin Ells Campsites while you're here at Patterson Reservoir; a tremendous place for whitewater paddling is Saranac River.
