East Branch Handsome Brook flows through this vicinity, and whitewater paddling is tremendous on Treadwell Creek. This lake is so wonderful. At Pat Pond you always meet someone from Oneonta, and do stop by Teed Pond, it's a delightful lake. All through the warm months here at Pat Pond, high temperatures usually reach the 80's while overnight lows are generally in the 50's. During the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Pat Pond.
