Why not take a refreshing hike along the Salmon Lake Trail, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Snow Ridge. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Beaver River; do take a hike on the Stone Dam Trail.
