If you are traveling by, why not stop by Panther Pond. Cannon Brook is a pleasant location to stop at; you can run the rapids of Cedar River. This lake is so wonderful. The Northville Lake Placid Trail is a brilliant hiking trail close to Panther Pond, and camping at Whispering woods is always a fine experience. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! you adrenaline people. Panther Pond is a pretty wet place mostly with a good deal of precipitation; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.
