A visit to Panther Pond is always a good idea. Panther Pond is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains. Why not camp at Hoss's Country Campground since you're here at Panther Pond, and Whitaker Lake is a splendid lake nearby. All the water falling down from the sky makes Panther Pond a wet site; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.
Panther Pond truly is in the middle of a scenic outdoors paradise.
