Palmers Pond is a lake worth visiting. Bone Creek is close to Palmers Pond and is always a pleasure to stop at, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites GIBSON. Get your pulse rate up on the fine whitewater of Ouleout Creek; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Elk Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Palmers Pond is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Oquaga Creek is a nice local campground, and after a long day outdoors Sidney Super 8 Motel is a great place to spend a night or two. All through the summer, highs generally are in the 70's at Palmers Pond while night lows are typically in the 50's. The winter comes with
highs in the 20's, and overnight lows at Palmers Pond throughout the winter mostly sink into the 10's. A trip to Big Hollow is always fun, and Mount Tone is a very popular ski area close by. A nice place to camp here at Palmers Pond
is Kellystone Park Campsite, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Scott's Golf Course.
