Palmers Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Sugar Creek; Swain has glorious slopes and a friendly staff. There's so much to do here at Palmers Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Park Meadow Camp Grounds is a tremendous spot for that, and a great nearby hotel is Longvue Inn and Suites.
