Dry warm beds await you at Lake George/Warrensburg Super 8 Motel, and a great location to camp here at Palmer Pond is Camp Dippikill Office. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. High temperatures at Palmer Pond all through the warm months are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the       0's to Palmer Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Hudson River, and camping at Smoke Rise Campsites is always a good experience. Go for a hike on the Long Swing Trail. There are great places to look at along the Pharoah Mountain Trail. Lakes? Sure, Loon Lake is nearby. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Adirondack Mountains.
