This place, the Adirondack Mountains, has so much outdoors amusing things. After a long day outdoors The Sagamore is a fine location to spend a night or two; if you're here you can take a hike along the Peaked Hill Trail. During the warm days of summer highs here at Palmer Pond get into the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. High temperatures throughout       the winter are normally in the 20's, and nighttime lows during the wintertime for Palmer Pond tend to be in the 0's. Palmer Pond gets a typical amount of annual precipitation; the month with most of the rain is August, and February is the month with the least moisture. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! There's so much to do here at Palmer Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Shearer's Riverside Campsite is a brilliant location                  for that, and Jones Beach is a beautiful beach to visit. Palmer Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Paradise Pines Camping Resort is a great local campground, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Dix Trail. Palmer Pond is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. So many exciting things to do in the Adirondack Mountains, not enough time. Don't leave Palmer Pond without first paying a visit to Linsey Falls, and there is a perfect hiking trail close by called the Spectacle Pond Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Take a side trip to The Branch. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Big Marsh Pond; if you come at the right time of year, The Branch offers some nice whitewater.
