This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Shearer's Riverside Campsite, and on a delightful day you can take a hike along the Peaked Hill Trail. Palmer Pond is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. The warmest
time of the year at Palmer Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are frequently in the 20's with temperatures at Palmer Pond
dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. The Branch is a brilliant site to check out; there are some good whitewater spots on The Branch.
