For the period of the days of summer here at Palmer Lake, high temperatures mostly get into the 70's, and the overnight is rather cooler of course, ordinarily in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Palmer Lake are in the 0's. Palmer Lake is       one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains. Now, you may think that's a load but there's even more exciting things to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. Get soaked paddling on Roaring Branch; if you're here you can take a hike along the Oregon Trail. And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do near Palmer Lake. If you need a site to stay The Saratoga Hotel and Conference Center is a perfect choice, and swamps like Blodgett Vly are fun to                  go to. Miner Hill can be distinguished from Palmer Lake, and Camp Cherith In-Adirondacks is a nice campground nearby. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! The Adirondack Mountains is unbeatable! Burnt Mill Creek is a good local stream. Palmer Lake is a reasonably wet place frequently with much rain; September is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful.
