     Palmer Lake is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains. If you need a site to stay Gideon Putnam Resort And Spa is a tremendous choice, and Palmer Lake is a good place to visit for more than one day, Camp Cherith In-Adirondacks is a good place to camp nearby. So much cool stuff in the Adirondack Mountains, just amazing. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Davignon Pond, and the skiing at Hickory Ski Center is great.
 
   And that's not all you can do here in the Adirondack Mountains. This is a great vicinity for people who like lakes. Fly Pond is a lake close by, and in the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Roaring Branch. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Palmer Lake has to offer, you can camp at Sacandaga Campground. Palmer Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the month  
               with most of the rain is September, and February is the month with the least moisture.
This lake is so wonderful. Why not explore close by Burnt Mill Creek since you're here at Palmer Lake; if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Oregon Trail. For the period of the summer at Palmer Lake highs are ordinarily in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Palmer Lake temperatures drop to the 0's. Swamps are out of the ordinary locations and Blodgett Vly in close proximity to Palmer Lake is no exception; the sight of stunning Miner Hill is splendid.
Now, you may believe that's loads but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Palmer Lake. Sacandaga River is a glorious whitewater spot close to Palmer Lake; The Saratoga Hilton is a great place to get some rest.

Pack Forest Lake is on a tributary of Millington Brook in Warren County, New York and is used for recreation purposes. It has a normal surface area of 77 acres. It is owned by Suny College Of Environmental Science and Forestry. There are no motors allowed on the lake. No fires and no overnight camping allowed. Dogs must be on a leash. There is great fishing, canoeing and kayaking. An absolutely beautiful lake in the woods. The lake has handicapped fishing access as well....
