In case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on East Stony Creek, and if you're a golfer then a great close by course is Galway Golf Course. Throughout the summer highs here at Packers       Pond get into the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's; overnight lows in the 0's for Packers Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Packers Pond is a nice location to visit for more than one day, Mc Conchie Heritage Acres Camp Grounds is a nice location to camp nearby. Lakes? Sure, Ronna Pond is close at hand. Packers Pond is a reasonably wet place mostly with a large amount of rain;                  September is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Any time is a good time at Packers Pond if you have a thing about the outdoors. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Lake Nancy; visit close by Evans Pond.
