This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. This place, Owl Pond, it absolutely has so much outdoors fun stuff. Campsite is a delightful local campground, and since you're here, you could visit Moose Creek. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. Why not camp at Pine Lake Campground and RV Park since you're here at Owl Pond, and Mud Lake Mountain is charming       and can be seen from here. While you're here at Owl Pond you can take a hike along the Hamilton Mountain Fire Tower Trail, and a great nearby hotel is Johnstown/Gloversville Super 8 Motel. All through the warm months highs here at Owl Pond get into the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are generally in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at                  Owl Pond plunge into the 0's. Just can't get enough of the Adirondack Mountains. If the weather is wonderful here at Owl Pond, you can go for a hike along the Sucker Brook Trail; since you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Gloversville.
