If you came to camp Campsite is a pleasant site to do that; Owl Pond is a location with many visitors from Gloversville. That right there is a heap already, but it goes on; Owl Pond has it all. There's so much to do here at Owl Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Pine Lake Campground and RV Park is a magnificent place for that, and Holiday Inn JOHNSTOWN-GLOVERSVILLE is a great       location to get some rest. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Adirondack Mountains. The Sucker Brook Trail is a splendid hiking trail in the vicinity of Owl Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Johnstown/Gloversville. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is good here at Owl Pond, you can go for a hike along the Hamilton Mountain Fire Tower Trail, and you can run the rapids of Piseco Outlet.                  Summertime highs at Owl Pond ordinarily tend to be in the 70's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Owl Pond. Owl Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; the wettest month of the year is frequently August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Owl Pond, you could also have a look at nearby Mud Lake.
