The beauty of Owl Lake is reason enough to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. Through the summertime at Owl Lake highs are generally in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Through the winter highs are frequently in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Owl Lake. Owl Lake is a wet site that gets a good deal of rainfall; May is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. This lake

| | is so wonderful. At Owl Lake you can catch a glimpse of Big Bog Mountain; you can stay the night at Beaver Pond. Don't miss out on a fine swamp; Grape Swamp is right here at Owl Lake, and there's delightful hiking along the Breakneck Ridge Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Inn Express Hotel & Suites West Point-Ft Montgomery, Ny is a pleasant choice; splendid hiking is available along the Woodtown Trail. If you get bored of Owl Lake, you could also explore close by Lake Nawahunta; why not head up to
Mt. Peter and strap some skis to your feet. If you like the outdoors, you'll go for Owl Lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Owl Lake has to offer, you can camp at Sebago Cabins Harriman; the best way to spend a
winter day is on the slopes of nearby Sterling Forest. Visit Bockey Swamp Brook since you're here at Owl Lake, and Econo Lodge Highland Falls is a good site to get some rest. This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun.
Whitewater paddling is nice on Moodna Creek; not far from here you can enjoy the trees of The Pines. If you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Popolopen Creek; you can go for a hike
on the Stillwell Lake Trail. Silver Mine Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and you can spend the day on the beach at Old Sebago Beach.
