Owen Pond is a lake worth visiting. That right there is a heap of entertaining stuff already but it goes on, the Adirondack Mountains has it all. This lake is so wonderful. A spree to Owen Pond wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Monument Falls; you're almost certainly interested in lakes, Connery Pond is one of those close by. Ausable River - West Branch is a magnificent whitewater spot in the vicinity of Owen Pond, and the best way to spend a winter

| | day is on the slopes of nearby Whiteface Mountain.
This lake is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend close by Craig Wood Golf & Country Club, and you'll meet a lot of people from Plattsburgh here. Kilburn Mountain can be made out from Owen Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Mirror Lake Inn. From a precipitation point of view Owen Pond is a pretty typical spot; August is when you get the most rain here, and February is the month with the least moisture.

If you love the outdoors, you'll love Owen Pond. Head up to Mount Pisgah and strap some skis to your feet, and if you need a spot to stay Courtyard Lake Placid is a pleasant choice. There is a wonderful hiking trail right next door
to Owen Pond called the Schwartz Trail, and if you've had enough of Owen Pond, Long Pond is close by. Yeah, come up here to the Adirondack Mountains for a magnificent time. Going for a hike on the Johns Brook Trail is always a glorious
adventure, and no need to travel far to visit attention-grabbing stuff like Moss Cliff.
Be careful coming to the Adirondack Mountains, you might not ever want to go back home again. Near Owen Pond you find Sunrise Notch which
is a glorious spot to go to, and Lake Placid/Whiteface MT KOA is a nice local campground. For the period of the warmest time of the year highs here at Owen Pond reach the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's generally in the
50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Owen Pond are in the 0's. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. Go for a hike on the Southside Trail, and why
not camp at KOA Kampgrounds if you're here at Owen Pond.
The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
