Owen Pond is a good place of typical rainfall; all through August this area sees the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Owen Pond is located in the Adirondack Mountains. That right there is heaps already, but it goes on; Owen Pond has it all. Hit the slopes at Mount Pisgah close by, and golf can be played at Craig Wood Golf & Country Club. Mirror Lake Inn is a glorious place to get       some rest, and the top of Kilburn Mountain is easily made out from Owen Pond. Man, is there plenty of exciting stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Whiteface Mountain, and Sunrise Notch is a pleasant location to check out. This lake is so wonderful. Owen Pond is a good site to visit for more than one day, Lake Placid/Whiteface MT KOA is a good site to camp nearby, and there is a pleasant hiking                  trail nearby called the Johns Brook Trail. You'll find a pretty lake called Copperas Pond near Owen Pond, and Owen Pond is not far at all from Plattsburgh. This lake is so wonderful. On a perfect day at Owen Pond you can take a hike along the Schwartz Trail; a cool spot to stop by is Moss Cliff. These mountains rock, just look at all the exciting stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. While you're here at Owen Pond, you could also stop at pretty Warren Pond, and a trip to Owen Pond wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Monument Falls. And that's not all you can do here at Owen Pond. Going for a hike on the Southside Trail is always a great adventure; KOA Kampgrounds is a fine local campground. Throughout the months of summer here at Owen Pond, high temperatures mostly reach the 70's, and the night is quite chillier of course, regularly in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Owen Pond are in the 0's. You clearly have to fancy the Adirondack Mountains.
