Owasco Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Owasco Lake. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and overnight lows at Owasco Lake through the winter mostly sink into the 10's. An average amount of precipitation falls at Owasco Lake; through the month of September you get the most rain around here,

You can run the rapids of Salmon Creek right next door to Owasco Lake. There's so much to do here at Owasco Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Riverforest Park Campground and Marina is a wonderful location for that. on the nice whitewater of Owasco River, and Buck Point is very near and is a wonderful site to stop by.
And that's not all you can do here at Owasco Lake. There are plenty of people from Auburn here at Owasco Lake, and dry warm
beds await you at Days Inn Auburn/Finger Lakes Region. Sucker Brook is a good local stream, and if you need a place to stay Inn at the Finger Lakes is a good choice.
