For the duration of the days of summer highs here at Otter Ponds get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's while Otter Ponds nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. If you came to camp Santa Clara Riverside RV Park and Campground is a splendid location to do that, and Point is a great site to get some rest. And that's       not everything there is to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. There's so much to do here at Otter Ponds that you need to camp here for a while, Blue Jay Campsites is a brilliant spot for that; there are some perfect whitewater spots on St. Regis River - Middle Branch. There's whitewater on St. Regis River - East Branch for all you adrenaline rush seekers; obviously Quebec Brook is a gorgeous stream that is                  worth checking out. This lake is so wonderful. The summit of Buck Mountain can be distinguished from Otter Ponds. Lakes? Sure, Benz Pond is in the vicinity. So many entertaining things in the Adirondack Mountains, just unbelievable. After a long day outdoors Sunset Park Motel is a magnificent site to spend a night or two, and Otter Ponds is not far at all from Malone. From a rainfall point of view Otter Ponds is a quite common location; the wettest month of the year is regularly August, that's the one that rains the most, and January is when it's the driest.
