Summer brings highs in the 70's to Otter Ponds; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the wintertime highs are commonly in the 20's with temperatures at Otter Ponds dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! Otter Ponds is unbeatable! Quebec Brook is a brilliant spot to stop by, and there are other places here than Otter Ponds,       for example Bear Pond. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things in the Adirondack Mountains. Get your heart beating on the good whitewater of St. Regis River - Middle Branch. There's so much to do here at Otter Ponds that you need to camp here for a while, Blue Jay Campsites is a great place for that. Dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Malone; the fine folks of Malone like to hang out close by. So much cool stuff in the Adirondack Mountains, just                  fantastic. An average amount of rainfall falls at Otter Ponds; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is January. This lake is so wonderful.
